Baraja has made significant progress this year with recognition across a range of awards and publications that we can share. Find out more about some of our recent wins.
An August report from the Tech Council of Australia recognized Baraja as one of three companies deemed as ‘most likely to produce Australia’s next wave of globally successful companies’ because of our high rating in both domain expertise and favourable incubation opportunities.
Global analyst firm Frost & Sullivan named Baraja ‘Winner of the Global Automotive LiDAR New Product Innovation Award’. The award recognizes the company offering a new product or solution that uniquely addresses key customer challenges. One of the attributes identified by Frost & Sullivan that sets Baraja apart from the competition is RMCW technology that when coupled with Spectrum-Scan™ provides the highest level of immunity to interference from other light sources.
“Unlike legacy LiDAR sensors, Spectrum-Scan™ LiDAR is an advanced random modulated continuous wave (RMCW) sensor…Capitalizing on the RMCW technology distinguishes Baraja from the competition. The RMCW technology results in fewer distortions of the return signal than the conventional time-of-flight method of ranging distances.” - Frost & Sullivan
Our Doppler capabilities showcased at AutoSens Detroit placed us on the shortlist in the AutoSens Awards 2022 category of LiDAR Development of the Year. This award recognises the best LiDAR sensor processor or other innovation that will further the autonomous vehicle development.
Most recently Baraja featured on the Forbes Asia 100 to Watch list. The list spotlights 100 companies that are addressing real-world challenges with fresh thinking and innovative products and services. It involved a competitive selection process with over 650 submissions in the region, Baraja was 1 of only six Australian companies made the list.
Looking forward to 2023 award season!
